reggae. one for me more interesting expectant music. It all started as it should be otherwise, with the good old bob. by my sister. and then came the German reggae to mono & Nikitaman, or Austrian, with Iriepathie. But by chance, I think by the soundtrack of spring the neon magazine, I was on the album matisyahu youth of attention. matisyahu is actually Matthew Miller, he is in New York, which is actually brought up non-religious. but after a stay in Israel, he joined the faith in the chadissischen Judaism. and therefore, its songs act of all that inspires him, which he identifies himself.
he was known by the song "King Without a Crown", at least for me. the song goes quickly into the ear and is also by no more out. although I must admit even once that I have omitted here, especially when it matisyahu surprisingly, I read the lyrics.
me it was surprised that an avowed and a devout Jew manages reggae with so much flair to it "the most fascinating artists of the reggae-world" (Esquire magazine aloud) to create. Besides the classic songs of Bob's music somehow a little quieter, reggae, and so for me a little better.

all in all it is a great reggae-album (with a small razor-hiphop) that I go gladly to the heart can create. Who wants to hear pure reggae like Bob Marley, should perhaps be to stay with Damian Marley, the sound of his father get laid in the cradle added. matisyahu but is really one of the great surprises of the year.
